Alejandra is a hairstylist and makeup artist with an appreciation for aesthetics and a passion for beauty. Her innate talent comes from her exposure to the world of fine arts having spent years in her father's painting studio. Alejandra's father, a protégée of the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, has been her inspiration. Her style is contemporary and sculptural with a versatility that allows Alejandra to capture the essence of a client's needs. 

 

Alejandra began working in the salon industry as a teenager. As she perfected her skills, she explored opportunities to express and expand her creativity. She then launched her freelance career  and with this relocated to New York City. With over 25 years of experience her work has been featured in many publications including Glamour, GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Italian Vogue, and Nylon to name a few. Alejandra's celebrity clientele have included Mariah Carey, Alicia Silverstone, Robert Redford, Woodey Harrelson and, President Barack Obama.

 

Alejandra now splits her time between New York and France. Her enthusiasm for her work has always been part of her life and evident in her creations.
